Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your skills by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and professional development.The work model for the role is: #Li-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.You will be mainly accountable for:Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.Designing and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets.Supporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.Our team dynamicsOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there.Qualifications for the roleYou are immersed in Supply Chain Management function in switchgear industry.You have 3 to 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and vendor development.You should have experience in preparing technical specifications and RFQs, managing quotations, conducting inspections, price negotiation, and resolving technical–commercial issues.You should possess working knowledge of SAP or any ERP toolDegree in Diploma OR B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering (full Time)You are proficient in communicating in English & collaborating with cross-functional TeamMore about usABB’s Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while boosting the resilience of the grid.
