We are looking for intelligent, motivated individuals who seek to work in a challenging, collegial environment to build institutional quality infrastructure and develop high alpha yielding strategies.Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following):Developing relationships between securities using Quant techniques and modelsAnalyze data sets to identify a new set of alphas and provide analytics of existing tradesResearch and apply concepts from academic journals and financial literature and translate into fully automated trading strategies using a range of historical data, price, and volume inputsBuild models and deploy high-frequency/mid-frequency or low-frequency trading strategies on different asset classesResearching portfolio construction and risk allocation techniques - Back-testing ideas using historical tick-by-tick dataEvaluating strategy performance, making improvements, and scaling up successful strategiesRequirements:A degree from a top Indian university (or from other leading universities in the world) in a highly analytical fieldA strong background in data structures, algorithms, and problem solvingPrior experience in Quantitative research or strategy development in the algorithmic set up (desirable)Quantitative aptitude and research oriented mindsetStrong work ethic, self-motivated and hard workingHands on experience on developing alpha/strategyBenefitsRobust and efficient trading infrastructure for development of multi frequency trading strategies( low, medium and high frequency trading)Access to multiple markets and asset classes across the globeCompetitive compensation and transparent business termsGuidance to grow, develop and improve on market dynamics and strategiesOpportunity to work and learn from various Senior executives in the firmExposure to cutting edge research in quantitative finance, statistics and portfolio managementFriendly work culture with added focus on career development of an individual.
