The role requires an experienced CBSE academic leader with strong classroom management instincts, teacher leadership capability, and the ability to execute the trust’s vision consistently. She will report to the Principal of the school.Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership (CBSE-Focused)- Oversee high-quality teaching and learning in line with CBSE curriculum, NEP 2020, and board expectations under the guidance of the Principal of the school.- Monitor lesson planning, assessments, and structured teaching practices.- Conduct academic audits, walkthroughs, and classroom observations.2. School Administration & Operations- Ensure punctual, orderly school operations with strong discipline and routines under guidance from the Principal of the school.- Lead timetable planning, invigilation coordination, exam readiness, and academic calendars.- Ensure compliance with CBSE regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and documentation.3. Faculty Supervision & Development- Mentor teachers to strengthen instructional clarity, content mastery, and classroom discipline.- Identify teacher training needs and support skill development through structured programs.- Oversee performance evaluations and maintain high accountability standards.4. Student Development & Discipline- Ensure a high standard of student behavior aligned with Shishya’s values.- Address academic issues, student well-being concerns, and classroom challenges.- Promote clubs, competitions, assemblies, and value-based initiatives.5. Parent Relations- Serve as the primary point for parent communication, feedback, and grievance handling.- Conduct orientation sessions, PTA meetings, and academic presentations.6. Coordination With Trust- Implement the trust’s academic direction consistently and faithfully.- Provide progress reports, academic updates, and improvement strategies.- Uphold the cultural expectations and value systems of the trust.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Education or school subject area (mandatory).- Master’s degree in a school subject area (preferred).- 8–15 years in CBSE schools with minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role (Coordinator/VP/Head Mistress).- Strong familiarity with NEP 2020 and CBSE systems.Personal Attributes- Firm, fair, and value-driven leader.- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.- Highly organized and detail-oriented.- Strong presence with high standards for discipline and academic rigor.
