India is a major operational hub, with as its U.S. headquarters. AS400 L2 Support AS400, L2 Support Experience : 7+ Years. Education Qualification : Any Graduation. Work Mode : Hybrid. Employment Type : Contract. Immediate to 15 Days Job Description – AS400 / L2 Support We are looking for an AS400 L2 Support Engineer with strong experience in IBM i operations, job monitoring, and application troubleshooting. The role involves handling incidents, resolving batch job failures, analyzing job logs/spool files, and supporting RPG/CL/COBOL-based applications. The engineer will also assist in system health checks, job scheduling, data fixes, and coordination with L3/development teams for escalations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AS400 commands, SQL/DB2 queries, message queues, and day-to-day operational tasks such as monitoring subsystems, queues, and interfaces. Exposure to ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Remedy is preferred. This role requires good communication skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and readiness for rotational shifts or on-call support. Experience in domains such as retail, logistics, or manufacturing on the IBM i platform is an added advantage.
