Role Description

The Senior Full Stack Java Developer is responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives. Responsibilities include design, development, testing, support and documentation. The candidate will need to be responsible for delivery of all phases of medium to high complexity projects.

Essential Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
  • Years of Experience: 8 plus years of experience in Design and Development
  • Participate in technical architecture design
  • Write high quality, test-driven code
  • Research, innovate, and implement new applications, functionality, and improvements
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for all related systems and technologies
  • Design highly scalable software solutions to improve functionality and system longevity.
  • Analyze current systems to maintain integrity and improve architecture
  • Plan and execute all deployment of system features and monitor for successful integration, maintaining the system throughout its lifecycle
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to the problems
  • Assist users in identifying and resolving system issues by providing application knowledge and technical expertise
  • Build, test, and support various applications at the request of the business

Technical Skills

  • Experience in building front-end applications using Java and React concepts.
  • Experience in Google Cloud implementation
  • Experience in Spring Boot, Design Patterns and Web Services in the enterprise development process
  • Extensive experience with React, JavaScript, JQuery, Responsive Web Design, HTML, CSS, JSON, XSLT, DHTML.
  • Knowledge and experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 12c Server databases
  • Sound knowledge of various Application servers –Tomcat and Web Sphere Application Server
  • Working knowledge with building the integration API and RESTful interfaces.
  • Experienced in agile, waterfall and scrum development cycles.
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Retail Projects or Applications
  • Identifies and reacts to problems related to the support of Linux environment
