We’re looking for talented teams to help capture the stories of students and parents across Karnataka, showcasing their educational aspirations and how Propelld is supporting them along the way.


Internship Overview:

We’re inviting teams of 4 to apply together for a unique opportunity to create engaging content that brings to life the educational journeys of students and their families. Your team will travel across Karnataka, conducting interviews, capturing stories, and producing high-quality videos that subtly feature Propelld's role in education financing. You will have creative freedom to bring these stories to life while working within the framework provided.


Key Responsibilities:

As a team of 4, you will:


  • Content Planning & Execution

Collaborate with Propelld to create a content plan for storytelling and script ideas.

Conduct interviews with students, parents, and educators in Karnataka, focusing on education aspirations and challenges.

Subtly integrate Propelld’s role in empowering students within the stories.


  • Cinematography & Directing

Capture high-quality video content that tells impactful stories.

Work with your team to frame the perfect shots and scenes.

Ensure smooth execution of the shoot, managing lighting, camera angles, and interviews.


  • Editing & Post-Production

Edit videos to create shareable content for social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

Add subtitles in Kannada and English, and ensure all videos have proper branding elements.


  • Logistics & Coordination

Plan and schedule shoots across Karnataka.

Coordinate travel logistics and ensure that all on-ground activities are managed smoothly, including securing permissions for interviews.


What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a team of 4 with a mix of the following skills:


  • Director/Camera Operator (1 Person) :

Strong skills in handling a camera , framing shots, and managing video interviews.

Comfortable conducting interviews and interacting with students and parents.

Fluent in Kannada for interviews and communication with local participants.

Basic understanding of scripting and directing short-form content.


  • Cinematographer (1 Person) :

Experience in shooting high-quality video, with a good eye for angles, lighting, and composition.

Fluent in Hindi or English for team collaboration and communication.

Understanding of how to visually tell a compelling story through the lens.


  • Video Editor (1 Person) :

Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.).

Experience in creating polished videos, adding subtitles, background music, and Propelld branding.

Fluent in Kannada for editing regional content and ensuring accuracy in language-specific elements.


  • Logistics Coordinator/Producer (1 Person) :

Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, travel, and permissions.

Able to manage on-site coordination, from setting up equipment to liaising with participants.

Fluent in Hindi or English for team coordination, and familiarity with the local culture in Karnataka is a plus.

Final year students of Viscom in any leading college in karnataka.

Availability to travel across Karnataka for content shoots and complete post-production within the internship timeline.


Duration:

2 months (with the potential for extension based on performance and project requirements).

Location:

Remote work, with travel across Karnataka for content shoots.
