Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Fashion Design Assistant who excels in communication, pattern-making, sewing, and stitching. This role is pivotal to ensuring our designs are brought to life with precision, quality, and creativity. You will work closely with the creative team, assisting in design development, quality checks, and maintaining production timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in sketching and ideating new collections.
- Develop and refine patterns and execute sewing/stitching as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on all garments to ensure they meet Studio Picante’s standards.
- Monitor production timelines and ensure all deliverables are met on schedule.
- Source appropriate fabrics, trims, and hardware for collections.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with vendors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure the brand vision is realized in every piece.

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in pattern-making, sewing, and garment construction .
- Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment finishing .
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform thorough quality checks and attention to detail.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to manage timelines effectively.
- Passion for fashion and an appreciation for Studio Picante's aesthetic.
