Role: Web Content Developer (Shopify)

Location: Bangalore ( Hennur Office)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Web Content Developer with expertise in Shopify to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will create, manage, and optimize web content that engages our audience and enhances our brand presence on the Shopify platform. You will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and developers to ensure that our website meets both user needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shopify Management: Oversee content management specifically through the Shopify Plus platform, ensuring smooth operation and user experience.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for the website, including articles, blog posts, product descriptions, and multimedia elements as defined by Product Owners.
  • Content Management: Use the Shopify content management system to upload, edit, and manage web content, ensuring accuracy and consistency for desktop and mobile layouts adhering to Figma specifications.
  • Campaign Management: Build and manage full campaign releases consisting of content and promotions, all integrated through the Shopify platform.
  • SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to the Shopify site.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with brand strategy and visual identity on Shopify.
  • Maintenance: Regularly update and refresh existing content to ensure relevance and accuracy on the Shopify site.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough proofreading and editing to ensure high-quality content delivery as specified in requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Utilize basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles to enhance content presentation.
  • Analytics: Use web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to assess content performance and inform future strategies.
  • A/B Testing: Collaborate on content A/B testing initiatives to optimize user engagement and conversion rates (experience with A/B testing tools is a plus).

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing web content specifically on Shopify.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in using Figma for design collaboration.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality content delivery.
