Established in 1996 and opened in 2003, VPS Lakeshore provides exceptional care to patients through an array of advanced clinical programs.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Kochi for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including monitoring and analyzing accounting data, producing financial reports or statements, and establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. The role also involves coordinating and completing annual audits, improving systems and procedures, and initiating corrective actions when necessary.QualificationsBachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldExperience in handling statutory compliances such as GST returns, ESI, PF and salary processingProficiency in accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
