As a Domain Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions that integrate on-premises and cloud-based systems. We will count on you to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that the architecture aligns with business goals and technical requirements. Along the way, you will get to:
Design and Implementation: You will be responsible for designing cloud and on-premises architecture solutions that integrate Dev Ops and SRE principles into the existing infrastructure. This includes designing scalable and resilient systems, implementing monitoring and alerting mechanisms, and ensuring high availability and fault tolerance in the hybrid environment.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to Technical teams, ensuring best practices in hybrid tech-stacks like Azure Stack HCI, VMware, Nutanix, Enterprise scale landing Zone on Cloud, Azure VMware Solution etc
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Driving Continuous Improvement and Optimization: As a Principal Architect, you will drive continuous improvement and optimization efforts within the hybrid domain. This involves capacity planning, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing changes to optimize cloud performance, reliability, and efficiency. Automation and self-healing mechanisms are often employed to enhance system resilience and reduce manual intervention.
Security and Compliance: Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions scale, performance, agility, HA/DR considerations
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the architecture, including design specifications, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
Quality Assurance: Ensures adherence to the well-defined architecture principles, standards, and methodology by the domain architects and in particular champion re-useability of existing capabilities.
Technical Responsibilities:
Cloud Integration:
Design and implement solutions that integrate various cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud etc.,) with on-premises systems.
Develop hybrid cloud strategies that leverage the strengths of both on-premises and cloud environments (Azure Stack HCI)
Deploy, manage, and maintain Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) including domain controllers to ensure network resource availability and security.
Develop, implement, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security settings and configurations across the domain.
Implement and manage access control policies to ensure that only authorized users have access to network resources.
Virtualization:
Utilize virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix etc.,) to create scalable and efficient hybrid environments like Azure stack HCI etc.,
Manage and optimize virtualized environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Networking:
Design and manage complex network architectures, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and SD-WAN.
Ensure secure and efficient network connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
Automation:
Implement automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Power Shell, Biceps, ARM) to streamline deployment and management processes.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) practices to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure.
Security:
Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Disaster Recovery:
Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Design and test backup and recovery solutions to protect critical data and applications.
Performance Optimization:
Lead discussion on performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure optimal resource utilization.
Dev Ops Practices:
Apply Dev Ops methodologies to enhance continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of the architecture, including design specifications, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
Ensure that all architectural decisions and changes are well-documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 12+ years of experience in cloud Architect solutions and consulting, with a strong focus on Azure, VMware, and AWS.
Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions.
Proficiency in backup tools and disaster recovery planning.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Az 300, AZ-500, AZ-700, VMware Certified Design Expert, etc.,) are highly desirable

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.
