Azure Cloud Architect Location: remote flexibility available) Experience Required: Minimum 8+ years in IT/Digital project delivery Employment Type: Full-Time We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud strategies for enterprise-scale solutions. The candidate will provide technical leadership, define cloud architecture, and ensure alignment with business objectives, security standards, and scalability requirements. Define and implement enterprise cloud architecture strategies for multi-cloud and Azure environments. Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures . Lead the design of high-availability, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud environments . Partner with stakeholders and development teams to transition applications to cloud-native architectures . Establish cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks . Advise on network, storage, compute, and identity solutions and architectural decisions. Mentor and guide engineering teams on best cloud practices and DevOps integration . Participate in capacity planning, cost management, and performance optimization strategies. Conduct POC (Proof of Concept) evaluations and technology selection for cloud projects. Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and services . Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and governance policies . Hands-on experience with IaC tools, CI/CD practices, and automation frameworks . Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, hybrid network design, and cloud integration strategies . Ability to design cloud solutions for scalability, performance, cost-efficiency, and disaster recovery . Experience in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud-native application design . Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. CI/CD pipeline design using Azure DevOps , GitHub Actions , or Jenkins Scripting with PowerShell , Azure CLI , or Python Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert TOGAF Certification or equivalent enterprise architecture experience Cloud Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) Ability to influence long-term technology strategy
