Role of Developmental Psychologist Primary Job Profile:The developmental psychologist will work closely with children having Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDDs) to support their overall developmental progress.Key Responsibilities:Assess and enhance social, communication, and language skills through structured and play-based interventions.Design and implement individualized developmental programs to address milestone delays.Conduct parent training sessions to help caregivers understand and support their child’s needs.Use play as a therapeutic medium to promote emotional, cognitive, and behavioral development.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, etc.) for holistic intervention.Preferred Candidate Profile:Hands-on experience working in-person with children and adolescents in developmental, clinical, or school settings.Strong understanding of child development, behavior regulation, and family dynamics .Compassionate, patient, and able to engage children through play and communication.Qualifications:Minimum Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, or Child Psychology preferred).Open to learning, growth, and multidisciplinary collaboration .Passionate about working with children and making a meaningful impact in their developmental journey.
