What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an Experienced test engineer who will closely work with the project team and contribute to the testing team. The ideal candidate will understand the business requirements and develop the test scripts, execute testing,report issues and also work closely with the development team on UAT testing as well. The ideal candidate has strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, along with a keen attention to detail, as well as the ability to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and Reviewing product requirement specifications
  • Reporting and documenting functional and technical issues.
  • Developing automated test scripts and frameworks for improved Web based applications.
  • Working with a variety of databases and coding programs, such as Objective-C, Java, HTML, as well as XML and JSON feeds.
  • Producing clear and concise test reports and releasing notes to coworkers when needed.
  • Providing feedback to development teams on technical, troubleshooting, or operational issues.
  • Assisting with the configuration of test environments.
  • Suggesting new processes and policies to improve mobile development techniques.
  • Expert experience with QA tools,process frameworks and techniques.
  • Assist Automation Engineers in designing and ensuring overall integrity of the testing strategy
  • Create and maintain test scenarios/scripts for manual testing
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for APIs using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Selenium.
  • Perform functional and regression testing, defect tracking from discovery to resolution
  • Clearly communicate issues/defects to appropriate resources in a timely manner
  • Organizing, monitoring defect management process
  • Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects
  • Create training documentation and materials requirements.
  • Support effective strategies and test plans with QA Engineers
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Execute the TC s in a given test environment.
  • Framing the execution reports after the script execution to the team

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience in API automation testing using POSTMAN < Rest Assured.
  • Experience in creating test scenarios and test cases in automation framework
  • Experience in Cypress, Selenium (Web based Application) automation
  • Automation framework enhancement and designing test scripts using cypress.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage across different layers of the application (UI, API, backend).
  • Extensive experience in programming languages Java, Javascript
  • Integration with CI/CD , Cross browser testing, Visual regression.
  • Expertise in executing functional testing, smoke testing, integration and regression testing
  • Expertise in setting up test activities for a project, writing organized test plans and test strategy
  • Ability to work independently, triage issues and prioritize tasks
  • Good experience in web services testing using tools like Postman, SOAPUI
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, problem solving, analytical and time mgmt.skills
  • Enjoy collaborating with team to solve problems with creative, out-of-the-box thinking
  • Experience in defect tracking tools like JIRA
