Role: Analytics Consultant/Insight Consultant

Type: C2H (Immediate position)

Location: Mumbai/Pune/Chandigarh (Hybrid)

Time zone: (IST)

Experience: 5+ years

Key Responsibilities

1. Insights and Recommendations:

 Analyze business data to uncover actionable insights, identify trends, and highlight areas

for improvement in KPIs such as conversion rates, sales, customer retention, and

operational efficiency.

 Develop and communicate recommendations to key stakeholders, focusing on driving

measurable improvements in business performance.

2. Data Analysis and Reporting:

 Design and automate scalable reports and dashboards using SQL and Power BI to

monitor and communicate business performance effectively.

 Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clarity to support informed decision-making.

3. KPI Management and Optimization:

 Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine key business KPIs and benchmarks.

 Monitor KPI performance, identify root causes of variance, and suggest corrective

actions to enhance outcomes.

4. Business Partnership and Communication:

 Act as a strategic partner to teams across marketing, operations, sales, and product to

translate data into meaningful strategies and actions.

 Present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences, including non-technical

stakeholders and senior leadership.

5. Advanced Analytics and Problem Solving:

 Conduct deep dives into datasets to answer complex business questions and solve critical

challenges.

 Utilize predictive analytics and modeling techniques to forecast trends and inform

strategic planning.

6. Process Improvement and Best Practices:

 Identify opportunities to enhance data processes, improve analytics workflows, and

maximize the efficiency of reporting tools and systems.

 Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

Must-Have:

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Statistics, or a

related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

 Experience: Minimum of 5 years in analytics, business intelligence, or insights roles,

preferably in retail or eCommerce.

 Technical Skills:

o Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.

o Hands-on experience in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or

similar visualization tools.

 Communication Skills:

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate

data insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

o Proven ability to present insights and recommendations to diverse audiences,

including senior executives.

Preferred Qualifications:

 Familiarity with analytics tools such as Python, R, or Tableau.

 Experience in eCommerce metrics, such as website traffic, customer journey analysis, or

digital marketing performance.

 Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques like predictive modeling or segmentation.

 Demonstrated ability to independently lead analytics projects from ideation to execution.

Soft Skills:

 Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of how analytics can drive

organizational value.

 Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

 A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
