Job Overview:
As a QA Manual Tester, you will play a vital role in upholding the quality of our applications by conducting detailed testing and validation across mobile and web platforms. You will collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure product functionality, performance, and overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Preparation:
Develop and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
Review and analyze system specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Functional & Regression Testing:
Conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and consistency.
Perform regression testing on new releases, updates, and bug fixes.
Defect Tracking & Reporting:
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, ensuring accurate logging and prioritization.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
Cross-Platform Testing:
Perform testing across multiple devices, operating systems, and browsers to verify compatibility and responsiveness.
User Experience Testing:
Evaluate user interfaces for usability, accessibility, and overall experience from the end-user’s perspective.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive test reports, summaries, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure all documentation is clear, detailed, and up-to-date.
Requirements:
Experience : 2+ years of experience in manual testing for mobile and web applications.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency with manual testing tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Test Rail, Zephyr).
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Java Script for web application troubleshooting.
Understanding of mobile operating systems (i OS, Android) and browser variations.
Soft Skills :
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills for clear and concise defect reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ISTQB Certification or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Familiarity with automated testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
