TCS is hiring for Mainframe + Control M
Required Skill Set: Mainframe Control M and Control D
Desired Experience Range: 4 to 8 Years
Job Location: Bangalore
Must-Have
· Basic Knowledge on Mainframe tools TSO/ISPF, JCL, VSAM/non-VSAM Datasets, GDG’s, SDSF, STC’s, IOA Control M tools, Mainframe commands
· Day to day administration of Control-M/EM server and its components, Production batch schedules and ensure continuity of business
· Build and Manage job flows, Calendar requirement and scheduling criteria · Automating Schedules, setting up Calendars, ensuring pre-requisites are properly set.
· Experience in Creating CMEM rules on Control M Event manager · Passing parameters to the control-M job, Creating job dependencies and shout messages as per support teams and business requirement.
· Experience in Endeavor, Retrieving batch/Schedules, Creation/Casting/execution and shipping of endeavor packages
· Basic Knowledge on Control D Missions
· Troubleshooting and analyzing JCL and Job abends
Good-to-Have
· BMC Certified software Control M/Control D skillset,
· Experience in IOA control D tools, creation/Modification of Control D Missions, Report definition, Control D recipient tree and User reports
· Experience in Mainframe PDSMAN, FILEAID tools and REXX programming
· Experience in service now for all scheduling requires for production, incidents and problem tickets
· Research, analyze and report problems to programmer or developer.
· Implementing Control M/EM security options by defining users and groups and by selecting configuration options.
· Exposure on disaster recovery activities
· Experience in handling batch activities in z/OS upgrades and Migration of LPARS
· Knowledge on Mainframe console Monitoring and handling WTOR’s, Basic IPL knowledge and OPS/MVS tools
