We seek an experienced Jewellery Buyer to source, select, and manage gold jewellery products. The role involves supplier collaboration, market trend analysis, and assortment planning to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:
Build relationships with reliable suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.
Assess suppliers for quality, reliability, and ethical practices.
Market Research & Product Selection:
Stay updated on jewellery trends and consumer preferences.
Curate a diverse jewellery collection catering to various customer segments.
Pricing & Inventory Management:
Develop competitive pricing strategies to optimize margins.
Monitor inventory levels and sales data to plan stock replenishment.
Quality Control & Compliance:
Ensure product quality meets standards and regulations.
Promote ethical sourcing and sustainable practices.
Collaboration:
Align product selections with marketing campaigns and promotions.
Work closely with merchandising and inventory teams for seamless operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Merchandising, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in jewellery buying (gold preferred).
Strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
