Role: RHOCP, Redhat & Kubernetes EngineerExperience: 7-12 years experienceApply only if you are available on Saturday for face to face interview.Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)Principle ResponsibilitiesDesigning and implementing Red Hat Open Shift clusters in both on-premises and hybrid multi cloud (Public and Private) environments, including handling upgrades, commissioning, advanced storage, and networking configurationsWork with customers to understand business and infrastructure requirements, translating them into technical solutions on OCPOpen Shift installation hands-on experience in both On-Prem and Public CloudImplement security best practices, disaster recovery, and high availabilityManage authentication and multi-tenancy and ensure complianceContributes to and supports the corporate Enterprise Container Strategy by Identifying ideas to improve system performance and impact availabilityIntegrate CI/CD pipelines, Argo CD, automation tools, and Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) solutions (Ansible, Terraform) for efficient and repeatable deploymentsAssist in change management of container platform for new versions of Open Shift, Hotfixes, Sys Admin tasks, etc.Design and deploy automated containers and virtualization platforms using Open Shift by addressing networking, storage and security InfrastructureGuide migration, integration and management of traditional virtual machines (Linux and Windows) alongside containerized workloads with Open Shift clustersCreate, clone, and manage VMs, including using VM templates for rapid deployment and creating snapshots for backups.Configuring Kubernetes networking to connect VMs to external networks, manage network policies, and implement load balancing.Set up and manage Kubernetes storage (Persistent Volume Claims) for VM disks.Configure health probes for VMs and manage their lifecycle, including rescheduling VMs during node failurePerform updates and maintenance on Open Shift worker nodes and Open Shift Virtualization components.Provides L2/L3 engineering supportAuthors/edits system documentation/playbook(s), etc.,.Partners with experienced team members & stake holders to develop accurate work estimates on work packages.Guide teams in OCP adoption and best practices, and prepare comprehensive architectural and operational documentationMust HaveExperience with container platforms, especially OCP with hands-on expertise in deployment, management, and upgrade pathsProficiency in Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform & Kubernetes Administration, Linux, virtualization (e.g., KVM), and CNCF tools (e.g., Calico, Helm)Experience with Open Shift Virtualization, Kube Virt and Core Linux administrationKnowledge of OCP security features and enterprise compliance practicesExperience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and Dev Ops methodology implementation
