This role is ideal for someone passionate about open-source software and making a tangible impact on global health equity.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomization: Configure and customize Bahmni/OpenMRS to meet specific clinical and operational requirements.Integration: Develop and manage RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data flow between laboratory (OpenELIS), pharmacy, and ERP (Odoo) modules.Collaboration: Participate in the global open-source community, contributing to code reviews and technical documentation.Required QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development.Core Java: Strong proficiency in Java (specifically J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate).Open Source Expertise: Proven experience working with OpenMRS (Open Medical Record System) and Bahmni .Web Technologies: Experience with JavaScript (specifically React or Angular) and CSS for frontend enhancements.Database Management: Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL.Tools: Familiarity with Git, Maven, and Docker.Preferred SkillsUnderstanding of healthcare standards like HL7 and FHIR .Experience with Linux server administration and shell scripting.Active contributions to any open-source projects
