Overview: The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI Presales Architect is a customer prospect facing role that collaborates closely with the LTI internal team Sales Bid Management Technology SMEs and Pre Sales Solution team. As a solution architect you'll work to win qualified sales pre sales opportunities and ensure that customer solutions are both operationally deliverable and profitable. Your leadership will be crucial in attaining new customers leveraging your strong understanding of Oracle Cloud service offerings and additional third party services. You'll craft large configurable repeatable pre sales solutions that align with customer requirements Locations: Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Kolkata and Delhi NCR. Experience: 12-22 years Experience: o At least 12 years of consulting pre-sales or solution engineering experience o Hands on experience architecting and implementing solutions on Oracle Cloud o Worked on large scale cloud migration projects Iaa S and Paa S o Strong knowledge of migrating enterprise workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure-OCI o Familiarity with various cloud deployment models and strategies o Understanding of key OCI components such as compute storage and network o Experience with Oracle Cloud Platform as a Service Paa S offerings including VBCS, OIC, JCS, Block-chain and Kubernetes o Proficiency in infrastructure automation technologies like Terraform, Chef, and Puppet o Technical presales experience Additional Skills: o Experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud Service Exa CS and Exadata Cloud at Customer Exa CC o Proficiency in Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing ATP o Cloud architecture and leadership expertise with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure -OCI o Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise scale OCI solutions o Deep expertise in OCI services architectures and best practices o Understanding of database technologies including SQL, Oracle My SQL, Postgre SQL, Mongo DB and cloud based databasese g AWS RDSAzure SQL Database o Familiarity with database administration tasks such as performance tuning backup and recovery security and scalability o Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences o Demonstrated experience in solution design proposal development and competitive analysis o Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams including sales engineering and product management o Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically o Self motivated with a proactive approach to work and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously o Willingness to travel to customer sites as required Security Competencies: o Knowledge of cloud security best practices including identity and access management IAM encryption network security and compliance o Ability to design secure architectures and address security requirements for customer solutions Disaster Recovery DR Design o Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and implementation specially for Oracle applications like EBS, JDE, People Soft, Flexcube, OBIEE, ODI SOA, etc. o Experience in designing and configuring DR solutions for cloud based applications and databases
