The Learning & Development (L&D) Officer will be responsible for driving capability building initiatives across the UITTR department by conducting competency mapping , training need analysis (TNA) , and implementing effective learning interventions. The role requires close collaboration with academic and administrative teams to design and deliver impactful training programs that enhance faculty performance, student engagement, and institutional growth.

Training Need Analysis (TNA)
Conduct regular training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
Prepare annual and quarterly training calendars based on identified needs.

Learning & Development Programs
Design, plan, and execute training modules (faculty development, pedagogy enhancement, leadership skills, soft skills, and technical upskilling).
Collaborate with internal and external trainers to deliver high-quality programs.
Monitoring & Evaluation
Develop KPIs and feedback mechanisms to measure training effectiveness.
Maintain records of training programs, participant feedback, and impact analysis.

Partner with academic leaders to align training with curriculum delivery and research goals.
Support HR in aligning L&D initiatives with talent management, performance appraisal, and career progression.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within UITTR.

Qualifications & Experience
~ Master’s degree in Education, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or related field.
~ Certification in Training & Development, Competency Mapping, or Instructional Design preferred.
~3–5 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, preferably in higher education or training institutions.
~ Strong knowledge of TNA tools, competency frameworks, and modern training methodologies.

Expertise in competency mapping and training need analysis .
Proficiency in e-learning tools, LMS platforms, and digital training methods.
Analytical and data-driven mindset for training evaluation.
