We are hiring a Production Designer - Associate - International Wear (1-3yrs exp) for a luxury designer house in Kolkata If you have a background in NIFT and understand designing, production techniques, this opportunity might be for you.


Mandatory - Bachelor’s degree or diploma from NIFT only


Position: Production Associate-International Wear

Location: Kolkata

Experience: 1-3 year

Number of position: 1


Job Role - The New Product Development Production Associate will assist the production team in preparing designs using software like CorelDRAW, Illustrator, and others. This role requires close collaboration with designers and production units to ensure designs are efficiently turned into high-quality garments.


Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning: Assist in creating design prototypes and collaborate on resource optimization with the Head of Production.

Floor Planning: Manage production floor workflow, assign tasks, and track productivity.

Team Management: Supervise and support masters and tailors, identifying and suggesting improvements in techniques.

Design Coordination: Work closely with the design team to translate design specs into production processes and communicate requirements to production units

Production Unit Coordination: Ensure smooth execution and alignment between design and production outputs.

Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular reports on production progress and monitor key metrics.


Qualifications & Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in fashion production.

• Experience in Couture Finishing in Apparel industry

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Design from NIFT

• Strong background in design, with the ability to understand and interpret design specifications.

• Knowledge of production planning, floor management, and team supervision.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
