A MNC Client of Addy Digital Analytics Private Limited is setting up Development Centres in Kolkata, Pune and Bengaluru, focusing on Fintech Platforms and Products. For this Addy Digital is Tasked with identifying Senior .NET Developer – POS & EMV Systems Developers who will be Technical Point of Contact between Client Product Architect and Indian Development Teams.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid/in-premise role for Senior Developers with deep expertise in .NET – POS & EMV Systems at our India Development Centres (Kolkata/Pune/Bengaluru). The role will involve tasks such as architectural design, software development, integration, and project reporting. While the role is primarily located in Kolkata/Pune/Bengaluru, there is flexibility for some remote work.

Job Title: Senior .NET Developer – POS & EMV Systems

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with solid experience in Point of Sale (POS) and EMV systems. In this role, you will design, develop, and support secure, high-performance applications for our POS systems, ensuring compliance with EMV standards. This role requires hands-on experience with payment technologies, integration with POS hardware, and in-depth knowledge of .NET development in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain POS applications and payment processing modules using .NET technologies.

Integrate with EMV-compliant devices, supporting chip, contactless (NFC), and magstripe transactions.

Implement secure, scalable solutions that comply with PCI-DSS and EMV standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, product, and security teams, to build secure, reliable POS solutions.

Work with payment gateways and processors to enable end-to-end transaction processing.

Conduct code reviews and support performance optimization and troubleshooting.

Develop unit and integration tests, ensuring robust and secure applications.

Document technical specifications, best practices, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a .NET Developer, with a focus on POS applications.

Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.

Proven experience working with EMV standards and POS systems, particularly with card readers, receipt printers, and barcode scanners.

Familiarity with PCI-DSS standards and security practices in financial applications.

Experience in NFC and Bluetooth integration for contactless payments.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and payment processor integration.

Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and experience with ORM tools (e.g., Entity Framework).

Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with POS-specific SDKs (e.g., Ingenico, Verifone).
  • Familiarity with Tokenization and Secure Element for payment security.
  • Knowledge of multi-currency and multi-language POS systems.
  • Experience with cloud-based POS solutions and real-time data synchronization.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
