Job Title: SAP MDG Finance Technical Architect / Functional Consultant – SAP FICO

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 6 Months + Extension

Location: India (Remote)

RED is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect (SAP MDG Finance / FICO) with 12–14 years of expertise to join an international project team. This role requires deep technical and functional knowledge of SAP MDGF, ABAP OO, OData Services, CDS Views, and SAP FICO .

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements in both FICO & MDGF areas.

• Develop and maintain custom hierarchy solutions in MDGF.

• Design & build interfaces for replication mechanisms across multiple systems.

• Create ABAP CDS Views / OData Services for exposing MDGF Master Data.

• Assist in the design, development, and optimization of SAP MDGF solutions.

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions through sprint planning & defect management.

• Research and apply best practices in MDGF, ABAP optimization, and SAP landscape management.

• Work in Agile teams, actively contributing to progress, issue resolution, and delivery.

Must-Have Skills

• 12–14 years of SAP development experience with MDGF, ABAP OO, OData, and SAP FICO Functional .

• Strong debugging, interface development, and workflow expertise.

• Proficiency in data modelling, process modelling, and enhancement concepts.

• Strong FICO functional knowledge with hands-on experience in CDS Views & OData services.

Good to Have Skills

• Knowledge of SAP UI5 and Fiori concepts.
