Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to assist our research and development team in applying algorithm development techniques to battery technology. This internship will provide hands-on experience with real-world data and the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, apply and improve the state-of-the-art battery modelling approaches.
Focus on degradation mechanisms such as Solid Electrolyte Interphase (SEI) formation, lithium plating, and thermal behavior.
Analyze model outputs and validate against experimental data to improve model accuracy.
Assist in optimizing battery parameters for enhanced performance, efficiency, and lifecycle.
Apply these modelling approaches to battery cells and packs.
Contribute to research on improving battery state algorithms and feature engineering.
Analyze simulation results and tests to draw conclusions and improve existing models.
Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions
Presenting results in a clear manner
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related field.
Basic understanding of battery electrochemistry and degradation mechanisms.
Proficiency in Python, with experience using PyBaMM or similar battery modeling libraries.
Familiarity with COMSOL Multiphysics, particularly modules relevant to electrochemistry and thermal analysis.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in data analysis and model validation.
Hands-on experience in Battery Modelling & EV Batteries.
Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink.
Interest in battery technology and sustainable energy solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. (C1 minimum)
