As an Application Lead, you will own the end-to-end design, build, and configuration of applications on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and act as the primary point of contact for your product area. and guide engineers through the full development lifecycle. The role requires a proactive leader who anticipates risks, aligns delivery to business outcomes, and implements effective, scalable solutions that meet user needs and technical specifications.

Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Azure DevOps practices, tooling, and delivery processes.

Lead and mentor a multi‑disciplinary team (developers, QA, DevOps, analysts) to achieve sprint and release goals.

Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy, release) using Azure DevOps.

Drive engineering excellence: code quality, automated testing, observability, performance, and reliability.

Monitor delivery metrics (velocity, lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate) and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Identify risks and dependencies early; Ensure secure development and compliance (secrets management, IAM, vulnerability management, policies).

Optimize cloud usage and costs in partnership with platform and FinOps teams.

5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Test Plans).

~ Demonstrated experience leading Agile/Scrum/Kanban teams and using project management tools (e.g., strong root‑cause analysis.

~ Familiarity with core Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, App Services, AKS, Key Vault, Monitor).

~ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ARM/Bicep/Terraform) and configuration management.
