Job Description: SAP ABAP Technical Developer Duration: 3-4 months (extension possible based on business needs) Years of Experience: 7 to 9 years Location: Remote Shift Timings: 7 PM IST to 3 AM IST (3-4 hours overlap with US team) Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Technical Developer with extensive experience in S/4 HANA environments. The ideal candidate will excel in custom development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, bringing expertise in WRICEF enhancements, modern SAP technologies, and integration solutions. Responsibilities: ABAP Development: Design, develop, and optimize custom ABAP programs in S/4 HANA, considering updated table structures. Work on WRICEF enhancements, including ALV, SAP Scripts, Forms, and BDC. Integration & Interfacing: Implement and manage IDOCs, ALE/EDI, RFC-enabled function modules, and BAPI. Develop interfaces with microservices, APIs, SFTP, and SAP Enterprise Services. Technical Design & Debugging: Translate functional specifications into technical designs and create ABAP technical specifications. Perform advanced debugging and troubleshooting of custom ABAP programs. Performance Optimization: Execute performance tuning and enhance the long-term sustainability of custom solutions. Review work activities for completeness and technical accuracy. Collaboration & Support: Work with business users to analyze and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and implementing resolutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including integration with FICO, SD, and MM modules. Modern SAP Tools & Techniques: Work with Core Data Services (CDS) Views, Virtual Data Models Gateway, and OData services. Utilize SAP UI5, Java Script, CSS, XML, JSON, and Fiori design principles for development. Development Environments: Develop in SAP Web IDE, Eclipse for ABAP, and Classical ABAP (SE80) environments. Propose and code appropriate user exits based on business requirements. Required Skills: Extensive experience with ABAP programming in S/4 HANA. Strong expertise in IDOCs, ALE/EDI, RFC-enabled function modules, BAPI, BADI, OOP, ALV, LSMW, ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, and Reports. Proficiency in designing and implementing CDS Views, Virtual Data Models, and OData services. Solid debugging skills and experience in resolving complex technical issues. Familiarity with FICO, SD, MM module integration points. Hands-on experience with SAP Enterprise Services implementation. Knowledge of SAP UI5, Fiori, Java Script, and XML is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with S/4 Retail, S/4 CAR, S/4 PMR, or POS Data. Exposure to high transaction volume and e-commerce environments. If Intrested.
