Position: Compliance Engineer (Cybersecurity Focus)

Work Location : Cessna Business Park, Bangalore

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Assurance : Ensure that Cisco products meet compliance requirements and obtain necessary regulatory approvals in collaboration with Business Units, local sales teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Documentation Management : Maintain and update internal documentation and compliance databases.
  • Compliance Documentation : Prepare, organize, and manage all documentation related to product testing and certification.
  • Lab Support : Assist with various tests conducted in labs and provide support for compliance issues.
  • Regulatory Monitoring : Track cybersecurity regulations and requirements within relevant countries, communicating updates and changes to internal teams for compliance.
  • Regional Support : Support the preparation of cybersecurity certification documentation for other APJC (Asia Pacific, Japan, and China) countries as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with skills in computer programming, script writing, and knowledge of cybersecurity protocols.
  • Experience : Minimum of 4 years in cybersecurity compliance.
  • Compliance Frameworks : Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOC2, ISO 27001, ISO 15408, ISO 19790, and Common Criteria.
  • Cisco Technology Proficiency : Hands-on experience with Cisco equipment; certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE preferred.
  • IT System Knowledge : Familiarity with operating systems, network devices, and applications.
  • Networking Experience : Practical experience with IPv6, MPLS, IP protocols, and telecom lab setups/testing involving routers and switches.

  • Project Management : Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Problem Solving : Analytical skills for tackling complex issues.
  • Technical Communication : Ability to engage effectively with both business and IT technical staff, including management.
