About the Role We’re seeking a Senior UI/UX & Motion Designer who blends strong product thinking, exceptional visual design, and advanced interaction skills.This role is ideal for someone who can conceptualize beautiful interfaces, craft intuitive flows, and bring everything to life through motion, micro-interactions, and 3D experiences. If you have a strong design foundation and a passion for creating immersive, high-quality digital experiences, you will thrive here. Core UX & Product Thinking You design with clarity, empathy, and a strong understanding of user needs. User research, empathy mapping, and understanding user motivations Wireframes and prototypes (low and high fidelity) using Figma or XD Information architecture for complex data flows Usability testing and iterative improvement End-to-end journey mapping and flow design Modern UI & Visual Design Expertise Your design taste is modern, clean, minimal, and bold. Strong sense of spacing, balance, typography, and visual hierarchy Expertise in building scalable design systems and component libraries in Figma Mastery of layout systems, grids, and alignment Ability to draw inspiration from Dribbble, A Mobbin, Framer, and top design trends Precision and pixel-perfect attention to detail Motion & Interaction Design You bring interfaces to life with dynamic, engaging motion. Micro-interactions, hover states, and scroll-based transitions Advanced animation skills using: GSAP (GreenSock) Framer Motion Lottie (JSON animations) Three.js / WebGL (3D and immersive experiences) Spline / Rive Understanding timing, easing, and physics-based animation Storytelling through movement and interaction Ensuring smooth, performance-optimized animations Experience with 3D websites, particle effects, or immersive interactive experiences is a significant advantage. Front-End Implementation (Preferred but Not Mandatory) You understand how interfaces are built and can collaborate deeply with front-end teams. Strong foundations in HTML, CSS (Flexbox, Grid), and JavaScript (ES6) Working knowledge of React or Next.js (or willingness to learn quickly) Experience with animation libraries such as GSAP, Framer Motion, Locomotive Scroll Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or Chakra UI Ability to design responsively across devices Comfortable working with Git/GitHub Collaboration & Communication Works effectively with developers, PMs, and stakeholders Provides clear documentation and interaction specifications Communicates design rationale with confidence and clarity Thrives in a fast-moving, iterative, startup-like environment Open to feedback and collaborative improvement Bonus Skills Not required, but a strong advantage: 3D/Interactive Design: Spline, Blender, WebGL Creative coding or generative design: p5.js, shaders Motion-driven brand identity and storytelling Using AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and asset creation Experience designing award-winning or highly interactive websites What We’re Looking For Strong visual design sensibility and product intuition A motion-first mindset with the ability to elevate digital experiences Ability to simplify complexity through clean UX Someone who values quality, craftsmanship, and innovation A team player with high ownership and a willingness to experiment Why Join Virallens?
