Field Applications Engineer

Field Application Engineer – Vishay India Location: Pune Experience: 5+ years in FAE or design engineering (preferably automotive electronics) You want to work with people who know what they're doing and a company that's not going to disappear overnight. We make the stuff that makes tech work—semiconductors and passive components that power everything from cars to medical devices. You'll be the go-to technical expert for our sales team. You'll build relationships with R&D engineers and managers, help customers pick the right components, and troubleshoot when things go sideways. You'll also sniff out new business opportunities and steer sales in the right direction. A degree in electronic/electrical engineering (or something close) Minimum 5 years pf relevant experience in Field Application Engineering or project design engineering field in hardware, circuit and electronics engineering/component industries Strong understanding of electronic components, working experience with resistors/capacitors/inductors/diodes/ MOSFETs is preferred. Proven experience in technical sales support or application engineering roles is highly recommended Experience identifying new business opportunities and potential customers. Knowledge of the Indian electronics market, including trends and key players is highly recommended Willingness to travel extensively (over 50%) for customer meetings, technical support, and industry events.
