Job Description:
Oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring that production and manufacturing processes adhere to established standards and policies.
Responsible to manages multiple teams led by Senior Managers and Managers.
Implementation of KAIZEN, 5 S, LEAN principles for process and quality improvements.
Good working knowledge about Control Panels, busbars, fabricated parts, Sheetmetal.
Plan, schedule and oversee all production-Mechanical design, Fabrication & Powder coating activities in the plant
Develop and drive adherence to operating plans and budgets on established cost, quality, and delivery commitments.
Monitor operations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Leading the manufacturing function and operation teams
Determining quality control standards
Improve the production processes to increase the productivity and efficiency of the workforce.
Drive and monitor key performance indicators like worker productivity, machine efficiency, and cycle time.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
Mentor and provide hands-on leadership to employees to achieve organizational goals.
Responsible for the attainment of targets in the plant in line with the organization’s goals and business strategy.
May be involved in customer relations, product management, business development and sales support.
Control Labour cost in line with industry average
Qualification:
BE / B. Tech in Electrical engineering with Minimum 15+ years relevant experience
Skills:
Proven work experience as a Plant Head or similar leadership role in the electronics manufacturing sector.
Solid understanding of business and management principles relating to strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point,
Excellent problem solving and time management skills
Comfortable in managing complex and demanding situations.
Ability to work independently with minimum guidance and to work in cross functional teams with multiple skills sets.
Determination, capacity to organize the own daily work and capacity to address multiple and diverse technical issue in a complex environment.
