Job Title: Azure Data Engineer Skills: Python, Azure Databricks Workflows & API Experience: 5 - 12 years Locations: Greater Noida, Bengaluru & Pune We at Coforge are hiring Azure Data Engineers with the following skillset: Experience in migrating SQL databases to Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks & Azure SQL Data Warehouse, including managing database access and migrating on-premise databases to Azure Data Lake Store using Azure Data Factory. Deployed SSIS packages to Azure Data Factory (ADF) using the lift-and-shift method & implemented error handling in ADF. Proficient in file system migration from SFTP to ADLS & moving recent CSV files into SQL Dedicated Pools. Skilled in developing Spark applications using Spark SQL in Databricks for data extraction, transformation & aggregation across multiple file formats for analysis and transformation. Strong understanding of Spark Architecture, including Spark Core, Spark SQL, Data Frames, Spark Streaming, Driver Node, Worker Node, Stages, Executors & Tasks. Extensive experience in database design & development with Business Intelligence using SQL Server (2014/2016/2017). Excellent communication skills, strong work ethics & a proactive team player with a positive attitude. Knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI, along with proficiency in charts & DAX commands. Expertise in various phases of the project life cycle (Design, Analysis, Implementation & Testing). Experience in data migration from Azure SQL Database to Cosmos DB (No SQL). Proficient in notebook development for handling complex scenarios such as: Counting word repetitions. Reading & transforming CSV, Parquet & JSON files, then writing the data into SQL databases.
