Min 20 Years experience into Purchase bulk material ( Sand , aggregate, Cement, Steel, Pipe , Bitumen , Iron, )

Qualifications - Bachelors of Engineering - Mechanical & Civil


Key Responsibilities -


  • Strategic Sourcing : Develop, implement, and oversee the procurement strategy for bulk materials in line with organizational goals.
  • Vendor Management : Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
  • Cost Management : Analyze market trends and ensure cost optimization without compromising on quality and delivery timelines.
  • Contract Management : Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, establish robust contracts, and ensure their compliance throughout the supply chain.
  • Market Analysis : Track market conditions, price fluctuations, supply risks, and trends affecting the procurement of bulk materials.
  • Quality Assurance : Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all bulk materials meet required standards and specifications.
  • Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, setting performance objectives and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with project teams, engineering, finance, and other relevant departments to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including disruptions, supplier reliability issues, or market dynamics.
  • Sustainability Initiatives : Support environmentally responsible and sustainable procurement practices wherever possible.
