We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Architect. This role demands a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive innovative solutions and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in technology fundamentals, in Generative AI POC development and working with customers to develop solutions using GenAI and emerging technologies, and extensive experience in bespoke software application development, particularly cloud-native architectures.ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipArchitect and design bespoke software applications with a focus on cloud-native solutions. Experience in Application Modernization solutions around the re-architect treatment type are a mustGuide and mentor technical teams, ensuring best practices in programming and software developmentDefine and implement architectural governance and standardsLead deep-level technical analysis; serve as an effective interlock between Project management and technical teams to guide projects back on track by enabling technology-related solutions.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical and operational risksWorking with/ leading multi-cultural teamsProduct Engineering LifecycleOversee the complete product engineering lifecycle, from conceptualization to deploymentAdoption of Design Thinking methodologies to foster innovation and user-centric solutionsLead Agile development processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of projectsDesign application management services, ensuring high availability and performanceCustomer EngagementAct as a technology advisor to customers, understanding their needs and providing strategic solutionsNegotiate with customers, manage expectations, and ensure satisfactionDeliver compelling pre-sales presentations, showcasing our capabilities and solutionsBuild and manage long-term, strategic relationships at the executive level.Solution DevelopmentOutline and propose solutions to complex business problems, emphasizing risk mitigation and feasibilityDevelop detailed technology proposals, including cost estimations and resource planningSolid presentation skills using appropriate tools and representationsStrategic InfluenceUnderstand industry trends and contribute to the development of new offerings and modifications to methodologiesLead in the definition of processes, standards, and policiesRepresent the firm at industry-wide external events as a keynote speaker and lead multi-vendor external projectsRequirementsA bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMust have experience with emerging technologies such as Generative AI, IoT, and integrating them into innovative solutions18+ years of industry experience in software development and architectureProficient and experienced with Business Architecture, Application Architectures, Technical and Data ArchitecturesStrong experience with Generative AI, and other emerging technologiesProficiency in programming languages and software development frameworksDeep understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservicesOpen Group Architecture certified and/or other Architecture certificationsStrong experience in customer-facing roles, including pre-sales and negotiationsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsExcellent presentation and communication skillsProven ability to lead and mentor technical teamsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
