Sikich is seeking a Senior Manager with 12 to 15 years of accounting or audit experience. The ideal candidate must have experience in US GAAP general accounting, financial statement preparation or review/audit, and team management experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve department and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategies with overall business objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Address and resolve complex issues, providing solutions that align with business goals.
- Oversee resource allocation, project management and process improvements.
- Display excellent leadership skills and manage internal/external expectations.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, month end close and year end close processes, ensuring all financials are completed accurately on time.
- Manage multiple project deliverables and client engagements.
- Oversee and ensure quality standards of accounting transactions by the team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Manage team performance metrics and responsible for team performance.
- Collaborate with US Leaders, providing consistent people and client updates.
- Work towards continual talent development through trainings and coaching.
- Conduct and review financials for fair representation of client financial statements.
Requirements for Successful Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and MBA in Finance or CA certification.
- Managed team(s) having at least 25+ team members.
- Prior experience in a Delivery Management role for a US based firm.
- Knowledge of US accounting systems.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Organizational skills to manage a big team and strategic client engagements.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
- Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Possesses a combination of both problem-solving and innovation skills to attend to several technical production challenges.
