Data visualization engineer

Responsibilities The candidate will be working as a part of the data-driven data visualization team which is primarily responsible for leveraging visualization tools to create informative dashboards and helping clients and businesses make impactful decisions. The candidate will focus on primarily leveraging Tableau to create visually appealing reports, charts, graphs and dashboards using data. The candidate will require driving and facilitating ongoing daily/weekly monthly reviews in a fast paced environment, and calling out insights on improvement areas for delivery leads. You will create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures to induce efficiency. You are required to understand the strategic direction set by senior management, clearly communicate team goals, deliverables, and keep the team updated on change. You may interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within the organization. You will be provided with guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments, which you will own going forward. You would be an individual contributor as well as oversee a small work effort mentoring a team, as needed by the project you are assigned to. Desired Skillsets: Understanding of the problem statement, modeling the analytics problem as data visualisation problem and coming up with solution choices, approach, ETA and dashboard UI options. Ability to design scalable and repeatable process for the data visualisation outcomes using Tableau. Ability to create prototypes for upcoming solutions and to be able to validate UI solutions. Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor a small team on similar stream. Understanding of Agile development framework. Requirements Proven experience of 7+ years in building and delivering data visualisation solutions and analytic assignments using Tableau. Engineering Degree in a relevant stream. Should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment involving AI, Data Engineering, UX Research & Experimentations. Excellent communications & interpersonal skills
