Introduction to Role:

  • The DXP – CMS Product Owner will be part of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) Digital Center of Excellence and will report to the Service & Commercial domain Digital Service Lead. The position is responsible for the planning and implementation of digital solutions for Digital Experience and global content management systems, Marketing and Communication plus others that align to CCR’s overall digital strategy. Role is responsible for working closely with both our domestic and international technology and business partners to ensure the enterprise content management systems are leveraged in the most appropriate way; Role is responsible for providing SME support for the build of new digital experiences and ensuring CCR is equipped with the most optimal tools to maximize content marketing opportunities.
  • The Product Owner should have experience within digital development; specifically dealing with the development of digital experiences, content management platforms and the definition of content strategy best practices. With a track record of building, managing and defining clear and actionable technical product roadmaps this individual will evangelize how to improve the management of content, defining how to leverage new and existing technology and process.


Responsibilities

  • The DXP – CMS Product Owner will be part of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) Digital Center of Excellence and will report to the Service & Commercial domain Digital Service Lead. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related business discipline(s).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within enterprise content management with deep product knowledge in one or more Web Content Management systems (SDL Tridion, OpenText, Fatwire, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, WordPress etc.).
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven, hands-on experience in technologies led background with hands on software development experience with multiple web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, XML, Web Services) as well as lead developer experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven, hands-on experience in Agile methodologies in a working environment – demand prioritization, planning, and execution to deliver software solutions
  • Competent at managing an ever-changing technology product backlog and able to pivot on strategy and priorities when business needs arise
  • Have demonstrated strong leadership skills include the ability to deliver constructive feedback and the ability to lead by example
  • Have a sense of urgency and enthusiasm in developing a best-in-class technology led products on behalf of the business
  • Demonstrated success working in a team environment and ability to collaborate cross-functionally and in different geographic locations
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Proven experience in communicating software product benefits and status
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills to manage diverse stakeholder relationships
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Scrum Master certified preferred
  • Travel 20%
