Your Role and Responsibilities We’re looking for someone who’s going to win our client’s confidence by demonstrating a thorough understanding of the markets in which they operate, how the media works and a diligent approach to delivering flawless documents. To be considered for this role, you’ll need to show us experience in: Mapping the relevant media universe for our clients Writing press releases Pitching stories to the media, following up and sharing coverage updates with clients Managing documentation related to the client and internal work Working with senior team members on converting new business opportunities How We’d Expect You To Split Your Time Very thoughtfully. But here’s an indicative split as a guide: Client Relationship Management: 20% Media Relations: 50% Team Management & Mentorship: 20% New Business Development: 10% What You’ll Need (must haves for the role) : 1 to 3 years’ relevant work experience in sectors like technology, technology led social impact and/or healthcare Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/ Mass Communications/ Public Affairs/ Public Relations or a related field Proficiency in editing, writing and formatting of documents Experience of successfully managing client events (press conferences, media briefings, interactions and follow-ups at national and regional level)  What Would Be Nice to Have  Master’s degree in Journalism/ Mass Communications/ Public Affairs/ Public Relations or a related field Experience managing technology or healthcare account portfolios Ability to integrate social media into PR plans  Freshly brewed coffee-making skills.
