Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by designing and executing effective test strategies. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Java, Cypress, and API testing and is passionate about building defect-free software systems.Responsibilities- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and Cypress for web and API applications.- Design, write, and execute test cases and scenarios for functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar libraries to ensure system integration quality.- Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and identify testing needs.- Debug issues by analyzing application logs, error messages, and stack traces.- Continuously improve automation frameworks for efficiency, coverage, and scalability.- Work closely with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).- Maintain test environments, ensuring consistency and reliability across the QA lifecycle.- Document and communicate testing results, defect statuses, and metrics to stakeholders effectively.Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Experience:- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on automation testing.- Strong hands-on experience in Java for building automated test cases.- Proficiency with Cypress for end-to-end web application testing.- Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Java-based libraries like RestAssured.- Technical Skills:- Strong understanding of HTTP, REST, and SOAP protocols.- Familiarity with database querying (SQL) to validate backend results.- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Skills- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Az)
