Job Description: Senior Automation Test Engineer (VoIP/SIP) - Python
Work Location- Bangalore
Notice Period: Immediate
Experience: 5 Years to 9 Years
Work Mode: Work from office
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with 5-9 years of experience in developing and executing automated tests for VoIP/SIP-based systems. This role requires a strong understanding of Python scripting, testing methodologies, and a deep knowledge of VoIP/SIP protocols.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test suites for VoIP/SIP systems using Python.
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for regression testing, functional testing, and performance testing.
Integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.
Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and track issues to resolution.
Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement testing strategies.
Stay abreast of the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Troubleshoot and debug test scripts and resolve any issues encountered.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
Required Skills and Experience:
5-9 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing.
Strong proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
In-depth knowledge of VoIP/SIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SDP, etc.)
Experience with testing VoIP/SIP systems (e.g., softphones, gateways, PBXs).
Experience with testing frameworks like pytest, Robot Framework, or similar.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VirtualBox, VMware)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)
Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
