Job Title: Project Engineer – Gas & Life Safety SystemsLocation: Dholera, Gujarat, IndiaDepartment: Facility Monitoring & Control Systems (FMCS) / Life Safety Systems (LSS)Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled engineer or senior professional (5–15 years experience) to lead, design, implement, and maintain gas monitoring and life safety systems in a high-tech manufacturing environment.Who should apply:Candidates from Pharma, Specialty Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Power Plants, Data Centers, or Gas OEMsSemiconductor fab experience is a plus but not mandatoryKey ResponsibilitiesDesign & Maintain gas detection and life safety systems (toxic, flammable, or specialty gases)Integrate gas detectors with FMCS/BMS or SCADA platformsConduct Risk Assessments and ensure compliance with safety & environmental standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (I&C, Gas, Chemical, Facilities) for commissioningTroubleshoot & Maintain gas monitoring and control infrastructurePrepare technical documentation, SOPs, and training materialsCoordinate with vendors & contractors for installation, start-up, and commissioningValidate system performance post-installation and maintain commissioning recordsIdeal Candidate Background / IndustriesPetrochemical & Refinery Plants: Reliance, IOCL, BPCL, HPCLPharmaceuticals / API Plants: Dr. Reddy’s, Sun Pharma, BioconSpecialty Chemicals: SRF, Atul, Aarti IndustriesPower Plants: NTPC, Adani, Tata PowerData Centers & Labs: Honeywell, Schneider, large R&D labsGas Equipment OEMs & Vendors: Honeywell, Dräger, Riken Keiki, Emerson, Linde, Air LiquideQualifications & ExperienceDiploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related fields5–15 years in gas monitoring, life safety systems, or utilitiesExperience in hazardous gas handling, fire and gas detection, or FMCS/BMS integrationKnowledge of gas detector brands: Dräger, Riken Keiki, HoneywellSCADA, PLC, or control systems experience is a plusGreenfield project, commissioning, or startup experience is highly desirablePreferred SkillsStrong understanding of hazardous gas protocols & safety regulationsAbility to interpret P&IDs, control logic, and system architectureExcellent communication, documentation, and training skills✅ Why This Role is Exciting:Lead critical safety systems in a high-tech environmentOpportunity to work across multiple regulated industriesInvolvement in Greenfield projects, commissioning, and startup activitiesExposure to high-end gas monitoring & FMCS/BMS systems
