About Insights & Advisory (IA)
Our Insights and Advisory team play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance and data-driven insights to organizations. By analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and business data, our team helps decision-makers make informed choices that can positively impact their organization's performance and bottom line. We work across diverse industries and sectors like Technology, Industrials, Energy, Chemicals, Life Sciences and Logistics, including market research, strategy, sales and marketing, R&D, and more.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide in-depth analysis of global and regional agrochemical market trends, including regulatory, economic, and technological factors.
Identify emerging opportunities and threats in the agrochemical industry, such as climate change, pest resistance, and evolving consumer preferences.
Conduct in-depth analysis of specific product segments, such as biologicals, herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides, to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
Assess the impact of regulatory changes, such as pesticide registration and labeling requirements, on the industry.
Design and implement strategic plans, including roadmaps, action plans, and performance metrics, to achieve business objectives.
Evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and recommend necessary adjustments.
What we expect of you/Skills we’re looking for/Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical)/ B. Sc or M. Sc Agri Science or related field
3-4 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar role within a relevant industry.
Updated on the current industry events, technology, trends, regulations, and best practices related to agrochemicals.
Strong understanding of farming practices, crop diseases, crop protection chemicals, crop nutrition chemicals, seeds, seed treatment technologies, biological crop protection and crop nutrition products, digital and sustainable agriculture
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Experience on working on strategic projects related to innovation, new product development, strategic planning frameworks and scenario planning
Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence decision-making.
A strong mix of industry and consulting experience.
Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Adaptable and open to new ideas and approaches.
