About the Role: Ovyo is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our client and work on advanced cloud technologies in development, deployment, and operations. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative team focused on delivering state-of-the-art solutions for the evolving pay-TV industry. Responsibilities: As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for creating and managing microservices for the platform. You will play a key role in designing and developing services while providing guidance and oversight to junior team members. Working in a collaborative environment, you will contribute to building high-quality software, with a focus on continuous deployment, automated testing, and frequent releases. Requirements: Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or similar field. Minimum of 8+ years working experience in IT. 5+ Years of experience with Java Script, Node JS, Go Lang, Mongo DB (No SQL) based application development. 4+ Years of AWS, EKS, K8s experience. Experience in system design, development and maintenance of microservices based cloud services. (Should have experience in debugging and solving issues in such systems.) Automated tests in Python for component testing, unit testing in the relevant language e.g. Go.
