We are seeking an experienced Website Project Manager to oversee the execution of web design and development projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between our clients and our web development team, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet client expectations in terms of functionality and aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of web projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven project management experience in web development with a strong understanding of web technologies.
  • Experience in client liaison, acting as a bridge between the technical team and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
