Purpose of Role: The role is responsible to ensure that strict quality compliance is maintained with the ultimate goal of Zero-defect components meeting the delivery targets.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the design and manufacturing teams to understand raw materialrequirements, in-process quality requirements, product test plans and requirementsIn-Process inspection of composites and metallic components including tooling.Generate and maintain Quality documents including QAPs, Dimensional inspection reports,log sheets and in-process check lists, NDT reports, test reports etc.Raw materials, fasteners and seals qualification and acceptance.Raise, Maintain and follow up for closure of Non-conformance reports.Follow up and lessons learnt are to be documents towards continuous improvement for zero defects.Skills requiredTechnical SkillsWorked as QA/QC engineer in composite manufacturing process and assembly process of the composite’s structures.At least 3 years of experience with a minimum 1 years of Aerospace or Defence experiencea quality engineering roleFamiliarity with NDT techniques such as UT, RT, CR and experience in interpreting Radiography filmsKnowledge on raw material testing standards such as ASTM/ISO for metallics and compositesFamiliarity with quality acceptance standards for aerospace grade fasteners & seals desirableExperience with Filament winding, Tape winding Pre- Preg handling, Sandwich composites manufacturing desirableHands-on experience in the interpretation of flaws in Composites and metallics desirableQualification Essential:B. Tech/Diploma in Mechanical engineering with min 3 years of experience in defence and aerospace assemblies.Preference:NDT Level 2 or Level 3 is an advantage
