Travel Sales Consultant

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Position Overview: As a Travel Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling domestic and international holiday packages to clients, ensuring they receive the best possible travel experiences tailored to their preferences and needs. You will work closely with clients to understand their travel desires, provide expert recommendations, and manage bookings from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and requirements for both domestic and international trips.
* Package Sales: Present and sell a range of holiday packages, including flights, accommodations, tours, and activities, ensuring alignment with client needs.
* Booking Management: Handle all aspects of the booking process, including reservations, confirmations, and follow-ups.
* Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel destinations, trends, and industry developments to provide informed recommendations.
* Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service throughout the travel planning process, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
* Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, leading to repeat business and referrals.
* Sales Targets: Achieve individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the department.
* Administrative Tasks: Manage documentation and administrative tasks related to bookings, including preparing itineraries and processing payments.

Qualifications:
* Experience: Proven experience in travel sales or a related field, with a strong understanding of domestic and international travel packages.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and provide clear information.
* Sales Skills: Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Customer Focus: Exceptional customer service skills, with a commitment to providing a positive client experience.
* Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple bookings and tasks simultaneously.
* Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using booking systems and travel software; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
* Passion for Travel: A genuine passion for travel and exploring new destinations.
