Your place in the team
As a functional consultant you will need to listen to the client needs, understand difficulties with their existing solution, while hearing their motivations for migrating to a new one. The role is a balance of providing technical solutions and meeting and manipulating business requirements.
As an SAP FICO consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations.
Job Description
Being an SAP FICO Senior Consultant should be able to independently lead the module and drive & participate in business requirements workshops, conduct business meetings, system customizing, develop functional specifications, interact with business stakeholders, testing, train business users, master data, go live, support post go live.
Lead team and work with them to address customer concerns.
Independently handle the accounts/projects either Implementations, Transformation, or support engagements
  Primary Skills required
8-12 years' experience in SAP FI and CO modules
Experience in the IS-Retail sector.
Minimum of 3 full SAP E2 E implementation experience with at-least 2 implementations on SAP FICO preferably in a lead role
Knowledge in Record to Report Macro Process (R2 R)
Expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting
Areas in controlling must include Product Costing, COPA, Profit Centre, and Cost Centre Accounting as well as Internal Order Management.
Understanding and minimum of 8+ years of working experience on LATAM legal & Statutory localization requirements.
Comprehensive understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including IMG (Implementation Management Guide).
Experience in working with interfaces and integration with third party systems
Strong business process knowledge in accounting, finance and controlling
At least 2 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes
Experience in conduction workshops and freeze the requirements
Experience in preparation of blueprints and solution documents
Experience in writing functional specifications
Knowledge of LSMW and other migration tools
Experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment
Involvement with FI integration focuses on other SAP-based ERP modules like SD, MM, HR, PP, and PM.
Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation.
English speaking and Local language to communicate with Local business users and team in different countries.
Planning and Co-ordination skills
  Secondary Skills – Preferred
SAP technical experience (Basic to Intermediate level only) - Debugging (Basic Level) Familiar with User-Exits/BADIs and other enhancements available
Capable of working with developer around Reporting, ALE, EDI-Mapping, Interface.
Exposure to FSCM, SAP HANA would be an added advantage
Exposure to other SAP modules is desirable.
Additional domain experience will be an advantage.
