  • 12–15 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, and Modelling in the Power, Defence, Infrastructure, and Capital goods sector
  • Strong expertise in capital markets, corporate finance, and industry analysis.

Location: Mumbai (Goregaon)

Job Summary:

The Senior Research Analyst / Research Analyst will play a pivotal role in providing in-depth financial, market, and industry analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives. This role involves gathering, interpreting, and presenting data to stakeholders, with a focus on delivering actionable insights to enhance investor engagement, corporate performance evaluation, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Market & Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed analyses of market trends, competitive positioning, and financial performance.
  • Prepare reports benchmarking company performance against peers and identifying key insights.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and communication materials for investors.
  • Conduct one-on-one or group meetings to update them on financial performance, strategy, and key initiatives.

Industry Research:

  • Research industry developments, market conditions, and emerging trends.
  • Offer data-driven insights that influence corporate decision-making and strategies.

Data Management & Insights:

  • Leverage financial modelling tools and analytics platforms to develop forecasts and evaluate performance metrics.
  • Monitor economic and financial indicators to assess their impact on the company and its stakeholders.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly earnings reports, investor call materials, and other disclosures.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in financial modelling, data visualization, and advanced Excel techniques.
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar tools.
