We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer with 1 to 2 years of professional experience. The candidate will be responsible for leading design projects & collaborating closely with clients. This role demands strong design skills, communication skills, effective project management, and the ability to deliver projects that exceed client expectations.


Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Interior Designer at Aantarika Design Studio in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will be responsible for client interactions, space planning, construction drawings, interior design, and FF&E selection.


- Lead and manage interior design projects from concept through completion, ensuring that all client objectives are met.

- Develop and present creative design concepts, including mood boards, space plans, material palettes, and furniture selections.

- Produce detailed drawings, renderings, and 3D models using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape).

- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

- Conduct client meetings and site visits to gather requirements, present design proposals, and monitor project progress.

- Oversee the selection and specification of materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that align with the design vision.

- Prepare and manage project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and budgets.

- Ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to bring innovative solutions to design challenges.

- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and to the highest standards of quality.



Qualifications

  • Space Planning, Architecture, and Construction Drawings skills
  • Interior Design and FF&E skills
  • Strong creativity and design sense
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp & enscape.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in interior design, with a portfolio demonstrating successful projects.
