These responsibilities help ensure that the organization receives the right materials, at the right time, at the best possible cost, while maintaining quality and ethical standards.Responsibilities: Support materials and equipment requirements and needs of the company.Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectationsOrder execution Procure to PayBuild relationships within the company and equipment and materials suppliers.Supplier selection ManagementProcurement strategy developmentCost management budgetingRisk managementManage the purchasing KPIs’ based on department needs.Run procurement function for the company and execute purchase orders.Manage purchasing contracts, supply agreements and import/export agreements.Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.Control spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.Key skill required for the Principal BuyerStrong negotiation and communication skillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingSupplier relationship managementKnowledge of procurement software and toolsUnderstanding of market trends and economic factorsFinancial acumen for budget managementAttention to detail for quality control and complianceQualifications: MSc in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Experience in Battery materials purchaseExperience in CAPEX equipment purchaseExperience in PO Management and Orders executionAbility to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished itemsStrong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationshipsExperience in ERP systems – D365/SAP Procure to Pay module.Understanding of accounting, finance, and legal contracts
